If You Can Hear It Over The Hoover

Just advertised on UKTV Gold: Housework Songs, a two-disc compilation of music "to make housework fun!"

I don't think I even need to make a sarcastic comment about this one.

Well, I successfully predicted what track one was. I bet you can all do the same.

What a crappy collection. I just bung Winamp on with my "Everything" Playlist. generally gets the job done.

Andrew lost the bet! As he didn't specify a stake I suggest it should be that he has to be nice to me forever.

On a related note, the Arctic Monkeys lost a bet today when I heard their song in a shop. As they didn't specify a stake either, I suggest they sign over all their royalties to me.

I like the use of track 20 on disc 2. It's how my mom feels after doing the housework.

It's how she feels all the time, actually.

Oh my.

It's worth mentioning also, I think, that that is the single most annoying compilation album I think I've ever seen.

I didn't think it was bad, as entirely themeless compilation albums go.

It's not themeless. The theme is incredibly annoying music. Not bad music per se, just annoying. I think the idea must be to make housework seem like fun in comparison to listening to this album.
