Warning from the trailer for An Inconvenient Truth:

"Contains images of ecological disaster."

Look out, parents!

Team America World Police has a good warning, too.

"Contains violence, explicit language, sex and nudity, all involving puppets."

That may be slightly wrong, but the last six words or so are verbatim.

PS. UPDATE YOUR BLOG

Verbatim is my new word of the day.

My Dad went to an early preview screening of Team America: World Police, and apparently the "Puppet Porn" sequence (the resulting sex scene following "I promise I will never die") was originally about two and a half minutes longer than it is in the final cut.

Oh yes, I remember some interviews before the film was released. Apparantly, they had to cut out some urination and scat scenes. Which is odd for puppets.

Andrew, Mark's in Cambridge now.

It is possible he will never update his blog again.

Bush goes ballistic about other countries being evil and dangerous, because they have weapons of mass destruction. But, he insists on building up even a more deadly supply of nuclear arms right here in the US. What do you think? How does that work in a democracy again? How does being more threatening make us more likeable?Isn't the country with
the most weapons the biggest threat to the rest of the world? When one country is the biggest threat to the rest of the world, isn't that likely to be the most hated country?
If ever there was ever a time in our nation's history that called for a change, this is it!
We have lost friends and influenced no one. No wonder most of the world thinks we suck. Thanks to what george bush has done to our country during the past three years, we do!

Bush and the Republicans were not protecting us on 9-11, and we aren't a lot safer now. We may be more afraid due to george bush, but are we safer? Being fearful does not necessarily make one safer. Fear can cause people to hide and cower. What do you think? Why has bush turned our country from a country of hope and prosperity to a country of belligerence and fear.
Are we safer today than we were before?
The more people that the government puts in jails, the safer we are told to think we are. The real terrorists are wherever they are, but they aren't living in a country with bars on the windows. We are.
