Nobody ever shouts this at me when I have long hair.
They just make James May jokes at me. So I tried to get rid of the frizz then I got Colin Firth In Pride And Prejudice jokes instead, so at least I get to choose.
I expect they're only doing it so that you'll get a haircut and then they can shout "Ginner!" in a hilarious double-pronged attack.
